New Year Greeting from MHRIA President, John Kuntzmann

Dear MHRIA Members and Friends,

We wish you and your families a Happy 2021 and good riddance to 2020.  2020 has been a devastating year for many back country residents, ranchers, and property owners.  We hope you are on the road to recovery. 2020 was the worst year for fire with the Complex Fire burning 396,624 acres.  It burned for 44 days and ravaged the back country with destruction in five counties.  This was the first year that I can recall we cancelled our Annual Meeting and BBQ, and postponed our election of directors and officers until later this year. Many of you are still dealing with the aftermath and we wish you the best.

2021 is here and we hope that it signals the beginning of the healing that is so badly needed.  We hope to hold our Annual Meeting and BBQ on June 27th at the Observatory picnic grounds (not confirmed but hopeful). We wish you peace, happiness, and health; may this year bring you everything you need and more.

Best Wishes,

John Kuntzmann,

President, Mount Hamilton Range Improvement Association (MHRIA)
